Gun Guy Counseling is breaking down barriers for those in the 2A community. We understand this community's unique concerns and needs, and it is our priority to ensure everyone feels comfortable seeking mental health support. This is achieved by keeping the legal minimum of records, demonstrating our understanding of the 2A community, and being a gun-friendly clinician.

The fear of losing one's gun rights for the simple act of seeking counseling is legitimate, shared, and understood. Many of those in counseling are not amenable to those in the 2A community, and their bias comes through in their comments and professional organizations' statements and positions. Gun Guy Counseling IS NOT hostile towards "Gun Guys." We respect your rights and are committed to providing a safe space for mental health support without compromising them.
